For this first entry, I’m going to recycle one of my favourite 1up blogs entitled, Be the Creature. It’s all coming back to me…
I was watching this show called Be the Creature, and holy shit I was getting so into it! It was about two clans, the hyenas and the lions. The lions were bitches; I mean they NEVER gave the hyenas any leeway! It was like, Stephanie and Deej. DJ always kept her clothes to herself. Come on, would it have killed her to loan Steph a denim vest every once in awhile? I think not.
Then some cheetahs had hunted themselves some prey and the hyena TOTALLY swiped it! MAN! Those cheetahs were PISSED!! It was pretty sweet, that hyena just like snuck in there grabbed the carcass and ran like a motherfucker! I wasn’t sure if I should cheer for the Hyena or cry with the cheetah. My roommate, Krista, told me they were animals, I think she thought that that mattered or something. Whatever.
I always look forward to the love stories in a show, so the instant a female Hyena threw up and proceeded to roll in it, I knew it was on. So romantic, BUT then this crew of males started hitting on her, but she wasn’t gonna have it. I was like, “You go girl!!” And then she bit off one’s ear, so I reassured the animal on the television, “Those guys were dogs, you can do better!” At this point, Krista had left.
This is nothing though, last night I was hooked on that chef show. Set it and forget it my ass. That thing pissed me off! You can’t just leave her in the morning and expect her to have your entire meal cooked for you. Whether its: duck and potatoes, or chicken and stir-fry. It was a throw back to the fifties, you better believe that I wrote to the station.
Yeeeah …so I definitely need more channels.
…
Good times!
(I just got “I Like You”, by Amy Sedaris. So far, it’s absolutely amazing.)

Hiii Jana! Woohoo, I can comment you now! And I can also bother you about the contents of your book! I love David’s stuff, but I wasn’t so sure if Amy’s would have the same effect. You see, I have this feeling it contains recipes that I’d somehow fuck up.
